On
November 20, 2012, the Salamanca Area Kiwanis Club donated $100 for Hurricane
Sandy Disaster Relief. The members of
the Salamanca Area Kiwanis Club voted to dedicate a portion of their annual
fundraising effort to help the families and children who lost everything during
the recent disaster caused by Hurricane Sandy.
The
American public and generous organizations have been very supportive of the Red
Cross relief response to Superstorm Sandy and we thank them for their generosity.
Their donations are making a difference, enabling us to spend tens of millions
of donated dollars providing food, shelter, relief supplies and comfort to
people affected by Sandy.
If
you would like to donate visit your local Red Cross Office in Jamestown, Olean
or Wellsville; visit www.redcross.org/swny
or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
Salamanca Area Kiwanis Club President Ned Fenton
presented a $100 donation for Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief to Bill Tucker,
Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Southwestern New York.
